Site clearances involve the felling and clearance of all trees, shrubs and often the tree stumps. This service is typically required by homeowners wanting a fresh start in their garden or commercial clients that want a site clearing for development.

Client Discussion

 
  • Conversation with the client to establish work requirements

  • Site walkaround to agree on details and specifics of the site (Including site access)

  • Assistance with (TPO) Tree Preservation Order/ Conservation Area(s) application submission (if appropriate)

 

Team Discussion

 
  • Assess the site for hazards relating to the trees, terrain, other operations

  • Assess the overall weather conditions for the scheduled work

  • Allocate responsibilities to the team members for the planned work

  • Assess public access safety for any potential concerns

 

Site Assessment

 
  • Look for tree defects, decay, heavy lean, or any other characteristics of the tree that may affect the felling and removal plan

  • Check the surrounding trees for interlocked branches, dead tops or branches that may fall into the work area

  • Determine what can be felled safely and plan the felling cuts

  • Place any required public safety notifications (where identified as a concern)

 

Commencing Site Clearance

  • The team coordinating processes to remove and process the tree ready for transport

 

Cleanup & Client Approval

 
  • Initial client inspections of works carried out
