Stump Removal

Stump removal (or grinding) is the process of removing the remaining stump once it has been felled. Unwanted stumps can be removed by the grinder which turns the stump material into a small mixture of woodchip mulch. This is often needed where the tree will be replaced by a structure, fence, lawn or simply to improve the aesthetics of the landscape.

Watson Arboriculture & Forestry have various grinders to accommodate customers where site access can be difficult. Our smallest machine has just a 75cm width for standard garden gate access.
